Learn the most creative music production and performance software with Certified Ableton Live Trainer Mark Towers.


Born in Leicester, England, Mark began exploring music technology in the mid 1990’s, adapting techniques found in underground dance music.

Mark creates interactive works, satisfying his keen interest in audience engagement by developing synergy between the listener and the music being created.

Mark is a lecturer in Music Technology and a Digital Curriculum Development Coach at Leicester College. As an experienced Ableton Certified Trainer, Mark’s teaching practice is profoundly based on developing and implementing new technologies within a range of disciplines spanning creative composition, object-based programming, multimedia applications and live performance techniques.

Mark builds unique software devices for use in music production and performance such as generative sequencers and performance-based rhythm machines. Mark is currently working in collaboration with Isotonik Studios, creating the Arcade Series, a collection of retro video game inspired tools built in Max for Live.
