Fortran returns this May to Leicester, a special event the brings together all kinds of creative performers both Audio and Visual. Free to get in, if you want to play just bring your electronic instrument, laptop, whatever and get involved. Jamming sessions and solo slots available. Curious? come along and see how it all works.
Leicester now has it’s own user group, and it’s all about Ableton Live, Max for Live, and Controllerism. We will meet every two months in Leicester, we have a range of venues to use from small focussed meeting spaces, to larger performance venues.
Everyone is welcome to join, come along to the meet ups and share knowledge, learn new techniques, and collaborate on projects.

This is a free simple Harmonic Synthesizer built in Max MSP originally to demonstrate to my level 2 students how additive synthesis works.
A fundamental frequency can be chosen via number box or keyboard, use the red toggle button to link it to the other harmonics.
Draw in the amplitude of each harmonic and see the results, use the two right side dials to calibrate the Oscilloscope. Use the ‘Phase’ button to toggle between 0.0 and 0.25 phase offset.

Pleased to announce a very special event in association with Cycling 74; Code Control, a European Max MSP Festival which will take place in Leicester 22nd-24th March 2013. The Cycling 74 team are coming over from California, and we have some awesome workshops and lectures. This event will be for anyone who already uses Max MSP and wants to up their skills, share knowledge, as well as new users of the software. All are welcome.
